“ It was an amazing time out to connect, learn more about those we work with daily, and hear story after story of courage and perseverance.”
Juliana Stancampiano
CEO, Oxygen
Thea leadership team at Oxygen was noticing that the state of the world was making them colder and more closed-off leaders. Recognizing this, Juliana Stancampiano, CEO, set up a Palabra event to build empathy, resilience, and trust. Ultimately, they chose the theme courage to share stories that would inspire risk-taking and vulnerability.
Before the event, Palabra prepped each guest with expectations and how to prepare, including storytelling guidance as they crafted their tales of courage.
During the event, Palabra’s expert moderator guided the conversation to promote active participation and meaningful dialogue. A visual storyteller captured key moments from the evening, which was both displayed in real-time during the event and shared with each guest as a takeaway from their Palabra experience.
Juliana was thrilled with how Palabra helped strengthen the team. By building trust, sharing stories of courage, and reflecting on each other’s experiences, they’ve regained their traction as leaders that value empathy and vulnerability, ultimately creating more resilient, courageous leaders.
“I believe that reminding ourselves of our courage is going to help us make it through this pandemic and come out stronger!
Highly recommend doing this with your team!”
