Cofounder and CEO, World Reader
David Rischer was running into some roadblocks as he was trying to raise money for World Reader, where he is the cofounder and CEO. Donors were getting the same spiel and their marketing was feeling a little stale. David organized a Palabra event to build trust, and connect with donors and prospects in new ways.
Choosing the theme of generosity, they shared deep stories about someone who has been generous to them and how that has impacted each one of them.
Before the event, we spent some time preparing each guest with expectations and how to organize their stories and what to expect before the event.
During the event, Palabra’s expert moderator guided the conversation to promote active participation and meaningful dialogue. A visual storyteller captured key moments from the evening, which was both displayed in real-time during the event and shared with each guest as a takeaway from their Palabra experience.
David continues to credit Palabra with reinvigorating and accelerating his sales pipeline. By building deeper relationships with their donors, World Reader exceeded fundraising targets in 2019 and 2020.
“What a thought-provoking, intimate, and heartwarming evening.
Thank you so much for your leadership and guidance.”
